Gridcoin (GRC): Gridcoin rewards participants who contribute computing work to BOINC science projects and can also reward Folding@home work with a special setup that links your Folding@home identity to your BOINC CPID. You run the BOINC client, choose projects, and earn credit for completed work. The Gridcoin network uses those BOINC credits to reward participants.
Curecoin (CURE): Curecoin rewards participants who contribute computing work to Folding@home (FAH). You run the Folding@home client, choose a team, and earn points for completed work. The Curecoin network uses those FAH points to reward participants.
Why this matters: Both projects use distributed computing to support scientific research. These coins tie rewards to that contribution.
